Carolyn Andreason

Carolyn Ann Andreason, 85, passed over into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 25, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, Ann’s life was rooted in faith and family.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29 at Eagle Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at Scott’s Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28.

Ann and her husband, Andy Andreason, have made their home in Coryell County for the past fifty years, building a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to one another. Their bond and partnership were a testament to enduring commitment and deep affection.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Maude McKown; her brother, Jimmy McKown; her sister-in-law, Catherine “Sissy” McKown; and her brother-in-law, Sonny Gilmore.

Ann is survived by her husband, Andy; her son, Keith Wallace, and his wife, Camille; and her siblings, Alex McKown; Bobby McKown and his wife, Portia; Carl McKown and his wife, Cathy; Butch McKown and his wife, Diana; and her sister, Nancy Gilmore. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally: Stephen Wallace, Hannah Netardus and her husband, Jared, and Michelle Brammer and her husband, Marc. In addition, Ann leaves behind loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she was deeply proud of.

Ann will be remembered lovingly by each of them, as well as by extended family and friends who were blessed by her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love.

One of Ann’s greatest joys was spending time in the pasture surrounded by her longhorn cattle. She especially loved having her grandchildren by her side, helping with chores and gathering brush. When burning brush, she delighted in watching them roast marshmallows—memories they will always treasure. Michelle and Hannah were gifted the same beautiful red hair as their beloved “Mimi.”

A song that held special meaning to Ann was If We Never Meet Again, particularly the words: “Soon we’ll come to the end of life’s journey, and perhaps we’ll never meet anymore, till we gather in Heaven’s bright city, far away on that beautiful shore.”

Ann’s legacy lives on through her family and friends.
