Camilla "Cam" Lynn Lawson

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Camilla Lynn Lawson, our loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on January 16, 2021 in Ireland, TX.

Camilla was born on July 24, 1952 in Bloomington, Indiana to Lydia Rae and Kenneth Lee Hunter. Camilla “Cam” loved to craft, especially crochet. She entered and won ribbons in the local county and state fairs. Cam won several honorable mentions before winning two blue ribbons, two years in a row. Her hands were rarely still.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Kenneth Hunter.

Cam is survived by her sister, Joni K. Hunter; brother, Michael B. Hunter and wife, Vicky; daughter, Deana L. Neyland and husband, Michael; son, William K. Lawson and wife, Edith; grandchildren, Myka Chancellor and husband, Tyler, Molly Gaiter and husband, Rossie, William L. Lawson and Hunter K. Neyland; two great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Camilla wanted to be cremated and a tree planted in her name. There will be no memorial service at this time.
