Brian Davis

Brian Allen Davis, age 58 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 in Waco.

Traditional Tribal Ceremonies of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, will be held in Northern Lower Michigan.

Brian was born on July 5, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Louis and Mary L. Chingwa Davis.  He grew up in Toledo, Ohio and moved to West Virginia in 1989.  He moved to Gatesville in 2006.  He worked at Alvarez Tune and Lube. Brian loved his family and his children, Torey and Nakota Davis. He was always stepping up to give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need, no matter what. Brian was always willing to give a helping hand at Alvarez Tune and Lube. He will Truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George Chingwa; and a nephew, Lamont K. Davis.

Brian is survived by his children, Torey Meyers of Toledo, Ohio, and Nakota (Kota) Davis of Gatesville; sisters, Delores A. Chingwa of Toledo, Ohio, Cheryl McLane of Toledo, Ohio; brothers, Anthony L. Davis, Sr. of Petoskey, Michigan, Matthew Allen Davis of Toledo, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Kaelani Meyers.
