Brenda Dobbs Coalston

Brenda Dobbs Coalston was born June 23, 1966, she left this world November 30th, 2022 at the age of 56. A service of remembrance will be Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Scott's Funeral Home.

She was born in Loraine, Texas and as a child she moved around until her family settled in Conroe Texas. In 1993, at the age of 27, she moved to Gatesville where she met her husband and love of her life James. She always had a love for cars and worked with her dad selling cars at Cartown in

Gatesville for several years. She also worked at TDCJ for 10 years before her health kept her from continuing. She had a big heart and was always protective of the ones she loved. To pass time, she loved to draw and paint. She enjoyed crafts and loved making gifts for others. She loved spending time with her grandkids and watching them at their sports activities. 

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Faye Dobbs; her sister and brother-in-law, Shonie and Henry Bartlett; and her brother, Kenneth Dobbs.

She is survived by her husband, James Coalston; son, Jessie Teague and his wife, Hope Teague; daughter, Tifanie Jenkins and her husband, Ethan Jenkins; sister, Patsy Wood and husband, Rubin Wood; aunt, Mary "Hunnie" Allen; uncle, Ken Dobbs and wife, Marti Dobbs; 7 grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.
