Bobbie Jo Pruitt

Bobbie Jo Pruitt gained her wings on July 4, 2021, at Providence. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Restland Cemetery. Bobbie was born December 9, 1930, in Coryell City to Bert Smith and Ruby Springfield Smith. She grew up in the Oglesby and Coryell City area. Bobbie accepted Christ as her loving Savior and was baptized at an early age. On February 14, 1975, Bobbie married Dan Pruitt and they enjoyed 30 years together until his death on January 2, 2006. Bobbie always loved pretty things and her collections of dolls was her pride and joy. Anyone who visited her home knows how hard it was to find an empty chair. Bobbie was preceded in death by husband, Dan Pruitt; 3 children, Daniel Lehrman, Kay Wade, and Patricia Bard. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 6 sisters, and one granddaughter. Bobbie is survived by one sister, Patsy Stewart of Fairfield, Texas; daughter, Neta Wiethorn and husband, Curtis of Valley Mills; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sons-in-law, Steve Wade of Waco, and Scott Bard of Michigan; one daughter-in-law, Fran Lehrman of Grand Prairie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
