Bobbie Anne Cameron

Bobbie Anne Cameron, age 92 of Gatesville, peacefully entered the presence of her Savior on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Gatesville with Rev. Richard Ray officiating.

Bobbie was born on September 18, 1932, to Reece and Luella Shelby in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Corpus Christi, before moving to Fort Worth, where she met and married the love of her life and best friend, Kevin Joe Cameron. At his passing in 2013, they were married almost 63 years. They lived most of their married life in Fort Worth, where they welcomed and raised two sons, Gary Joe and Kevin Lynn. Bobbie spent her entire life nurturing and caring for her family. It was her calling in life, and she did it well.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Frieda Margaret Sears; husband, Kevin Joe Cameron; and niece, Cathy Cameron.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Cameron and wife Stacey and Kevin Cameron and wife Rose; sister, Vickie Mayeaux and husband Donald; grandchildren, Jamie Turner and husband T.J., Julie Hay and husband Tony, Sue Anne Cameron, Lawton Driscoll, and Ted Driscoll and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Cameron Turner, Logan Hay, Eliza Turner, and Drew Hay, who lovingly called her Grandma Bobbie; niece, Angie Williams and husband David; nephews, Todd Hadley, Richard Cameron, Mark Cameron, Byron Cameron, and Scott Cameron; great nephews, Taylor Williams and wife Lizzy, Zachary Williams, Drake Hadley, and Jett Hadley; great niece, Tyler Hadley; and many cousins. She is also survived by many friends and caretakers who loved her. If you met Bobbie, you loved her too.
