Beverly McClellan Hollister

Beverly McClellan Hollister, 80, of Gatesville, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, December 2, 2019 at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Beverly was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Mary Teevans and George Zitnak (twin) on August 1, 1939. She went to school at West Tech High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She had been with and married Charles Hollister for 30 plus years. He preceded her in death in March of this year.

Beverly was a legal secretary and worked for much of her adult life with various attorneys. She was smart, funny, loving and to say the very least a pistol! She was also quite beautiful and often mistaken for Elizabeth Taylor. Her family meant everything to her.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Kelly Lada and husband, Mike, Darlene Mullen and husband, Dan; son, James McClellan and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Joshua Robertson, Zachary Robertson, Hannah Mullen, Gabrielle Mullen and Danielle Smith (twins); and great grandchildren, Cameron Robertson, Bryce Robertson, Paige, Avery, & Ella Robertson (triplets).
