Ann Ford

Ann Ford, age 78 of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 in Gatesville.

Celebration of life services for the family will be held privately.

Ann was born on September 10, 1942 in Frederick, Oklahoma to the late Elzie and Viola Dunham Mathis.  She spent her early childhood in Frederick, Oklahoma where she picked cotton with her parents and told stories of riding their wagon into town on Sundays.  As a teenager, her family moved to Wichita Falls.  She married William M. Ford in 1964 and became an Air Force wife.  Ann’s family was her pride and joy.  She shared stories of them with everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Jackie Ford and Amanda Gilmore, (chosen daughter) Brianna Wilganowski and husband, Kyle; grandchildren, Kelby Barnes and husband, Caleb, Jacklee Melton, Chesnea Ford, Gage Ford, Brilee Ford; great grandchildren, Addison, Rawlings, Elijah and Jeffery.
