Dorothy Jo Weaver Mulrooney

Dorothy Jo Weaver Mulrooney, age 57, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Harmony Baptist Church, 1750 FM 215 in Gatesville. Immediately following the service will be lunch and fellowship in the church fellowship hall. Jo was born on March 3, 1960 in Odessa, Texas to Sam and Dorothy Weaver. She was raised in Robinson, Texas. She moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1981, where she spent five beautiful years. She returned to Waco, Texas, where she managed a hotel. In 2013, she moved to Gatesville, Texas, where she operated a candle company, Josie’s Creations, until her death. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Weaver; and sister, René Weaver. Jo is survived by her daughter, Danielle Mulrooney; mother, Dorothy Weaver; brother, Curtis Weaver; grandsons, Aadan Hightower and Anthony Mulrooney.
