Linda Hanna 80, of Gatesville passed away peacefully on December 28, 2017 with her family by her side. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at South Mountain Baptist Church in Gatesville. She was born in Gatesville on October 9, 1937 to Quince and Ruby Burt. Linda is the middle child of three. She graduated from Gatesville High school in 1956. For 15 years she worked for IBM as a keypunch operator at the Dallas Times Herald. She was also a loving care giver. She had a love for all animals, as well as traveling with her loved ones on family vacations. She was devoted to the Lord and loved her Mountain Baptist Church family. She always greeted the world with a smile and was always our "Sassy Mimi." who had a love for Diet Cokes and Cheeto's. She is preceded in death by her parents, Quince and Ruby Burt; her husband of 34 years, Roger Hanna; sister, Jerri Price, as well as her daughter, Lisa Boswell. Linda is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Johnson of Corsicana, Ann Maimbourg of Gatesville and Gina Kaase and her husband Bruce of Gatesville; her sister, Peggy Blanchard of Gatesville; 12 grandchildren, Tim Scott and wife, Sara of Cedar Park, Stephen Maimbourg and wife, Debbie of Weslaco, Christopher Muchow and wife, Elaine of Bowie, Travis Curry of York, Nebraska, Chase Keathley of Gatesville, Tyler Vincent and wife, Sarah of Gatesville, Roger Blain Hanna of Ft. Worth, Stephanie Wigley and husband, Blake of Corsicana, Maeson Vincent of Gatesville, Codi Mitchell of Gatesville, Miller Shaffer of Gatesville, and Garrison Shaffer of Gatesville; her six great grandchildren, Austin, Emarie, Harrison, Grayson, Kayden and Joss as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also her special friend, Jimmielee Stark of Quartz Site, Arizona.
