Jimmie Cathey, age 78, of Lucedale, Mississippi passed away Thursday, September 16, 2016. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Davidson Cemetery. Jimmie was born on January 7, 1938 in Corsicana, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Peggy Lee Smith Cathey; daughter, Peyton Marie Cathey of Lucedale, MS; son-in-law, Cameron Lee Hudson of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Charli Grace Hudson of Lucedale, MS; father-in-law, Robert Frank Smith of Lucedale, MS; mother-in-law, Pearline Holliman Smith of Lucedale, MS; sisters, Doris Cathey Rycroft of Oklahoma City, OK, Judy Herring of McGregor, TX, and Stella Keppler of Houston, TX; brothers, Tommy Bovee and Jerry Bovee, both of McGregor, TX; and brother-in-law, Haskell Rycroft of Oklahoma City, OK.
