Wallace Blair

Wallace Blair, age 83, of Temple passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at King Cemetery. Wallace was born on January 22, 1931 in Killeen, Texas to the late Joel Blair and Flora Nunnley Blair. He attended school in Killeen. He married Fannie Stokes and they made their home in Houston. He worked for Central Freight Lines for over 40 years. Upon retirement, he and his wife resided in King, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Blair; parents; and sisters, Julie Blair Travis and Verdie Glenn. Wallace is survived by daughter, Patricia Fowler and husband, Jerry of Troy, Texas; grandsons, Christopher Perteet of Calvin, Oklahoma and Stephen Gerber of Troy, Texas; sisters, Mildred Cockrell Shine and Willie Blair Barlow; brother, Moody Rex Cockrell; and adopted son, Randy Riggs of Gatesville.
