Mary Mozelle Hudson

Mozelle Hudson, 90, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at The Meadows. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday. Mozelle was born November 4, 1917 in Gatesville, Texas. She was the daughter of Lewis McCallister and Maude Painter McCallister. She attended school in Turnersville and Gatesville. Mozelle worked as a bookkeeper for Bennett’s Department Store for many years. She was a Girl Scout leader for 8 years and an active member of The First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands H. C. Porter Adams and Cyril Hudson, her parents and 7 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include daughter, Pamela Adams Brasher and husband Jimmy; sister, Dollie Whitley; brother, Sidney McCallister; grandchildren, Josh Brasher and Seth Brasher; great grandchildren, Landen Brasher and Porter Brasher. Memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church and Gatesville Public Library.
