Leta Lee

Leta Lee, 81, of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007 at a local hospital. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Levita Cemetery with Rev. Willie Clarke officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lee was born on October 12, 1925 in Pidcoke, Texas to the late Tom and Effie Millsap Peveto. She attended school in the Harmon and Pidcoke Community. She married Robert Clinton Lee in 1944 in Lampasas County. She loved to garden, history and her dog, Little Bit. Leta worked at Walls for a number of years in Gatesville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton; 3 brothers and a sister. Leta is survived by her children, Tommy Lee, Barbara Spross and husband James, Charles Lee and wife Linda, James Lee; sister, Dolly Farless; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
