Rondald Hendrix age 76, known as “Papa Ron” of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 in Gatesville.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Restland Cemetery in Gatesville, with Rev. Willie Clarke officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Rondald was born on August 24, 1935 in Palava, Texas to the late Garland Warren and Letha McBride Hendrix. He grew up in Palava and Sweetwater. He worked on a farm, oilfield and cotton gin. He retired from Associated Milk Producers Inc. after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his partner, Rose Marie Klutts in 2009; brother, Kenneth Hendrix and a sister, Lavonne Hendrix.

He is survived by his sons, Ruben Hendrix and wife Kim of Gatesville, Ronnie Hendrix of Abilene, Casey Hendrix and wife LaDonna of Midland; daughter, Carrie Hendrix of Midland; numerous step children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
